New agreement to see Novomatic install Novo TouchBet at Foxwoods

The US subsidiary of the Novomatic Group, Novomatic Americas, has reportedly penned a multi-year agreement with the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation-owned Foxwoods Resort Casino that will see 54 of the Austria-based company’s dealer-assisted Electronic Table Games (ETGs) installed at the Connecticut resort casino during Q4 this year.

Thirty electronic gaming terminals will be installed initially at Foxwoods, where live dealers will lead the play of Novo TouchBet® Live-Black Jack and Novo TouchBet® Live-Baccarat, with multi-table selection on demand. The offering is complemented by personal player stations with charging ports, huge screens, dedicated beverage holders and bag hooks. Twenty-four units will follow during the second installation.

President and CEO of NOVOMATIC Americas, Rick Meitzler, said: “The entire team at NOVOMATIC Americas is proud to be a part of this exciting entertainment concept. Novo Line Novo Unity™ II has proved to be a world-leading ETG platform in its class, providing a 7BALL flexible, secure and robust system to create incredible player excitement. Our ETG system is easily configurable and expands as player demand increases. Over the past several months our teams have worked together on new game concepts, design, development and the necessary approvals,” according to the press release.

The agreement allows Foxwoods and Novomatic, together, to continue to expand each of their product offerings from slots and the Greentube Pro-powered Foxwoods Online casino, to a growing ETG experience on the gaming floor.

SVP of Table Games for Foxwoods, Wayne Theiss, said that they are always looking for interesting and creative ways to entertain their players. The team at NOVOMATIC Americas are great partners due to their understanding of operations; they are innovators and operators, he said. In addition, he said, “they listen and will deliver a mix of new products offering a range of entertaining, player-friendly electronic table gaming choices.”
